For my video project I interviewed John Peterson. John works at KFYI/KGME radio station in Phoenix, AZ. He produces and also board ops for the station. He orginally was hired to work at the station as an intern with KGME also known as XTRA Sports 910. He managed to turn an internship to a part time job with the station. He has worked there for around a year and says he enjoys working at the radio station.
John hopes to make a career out of his experience in the radio industry. His dream is to call play-by-play for the NHL (National Hockey League). John currently was announced as the Sports Director at KASC the Blaze 1260 AM, the college radio station. He plans on using both the Sports director’s job and and his job with KFYI/KGME as a jump start for his career. You can see the interview below:
